In the way things go sometimes, I live and die by my medical calendar. All social events have to fit in between the medical appointments. This week was a doozy. I had an appointment on Monday for lab work. Later that afternoon, I got a call that they had messed up one of the labs and I had to have it redrawn.
Tuesday I had an appointment with the Gastroenterologist to see how things are actually going. I showed her my newest GI cartoon:
She got a good laugh out of that one.
As far as things are going, labs were stable, and then she told me the one thing I've never heard in my life. I'm appropriate. Appropriate? Appropriate! Wonders never cease!
